Install Your ideal Sauna with the help of Sauna blueprint

Sauna is a room where people can take steam bath and can make themselves relaxed and stress-free. It improves the functioning of the body and strengthens the immune system. For sauna installation, a typical sauna blueprint is given below:

Efficient: A 6’X8’ room is a perfect size. It is big enough to accommodate six persons at the most and also small enough to heat quickly and efficiently at the same time.

Compact: The overall building dimensions for sauna is 8’x12’.

Proportion: The sauna room should encompass everything that is needed for a perfect sauna bath including insulated walls and ceiling and a glass door. The sauna room should be created in a way that requires minimal cutting and wastes.

Two rooms: A perfect sauna blueprint has to have two rooms. A room for taking steam bath and another for changing. The sauna bath is not a success if the door opens to the outside. It is imperative to have a room for changing.

Seating: 24” wide benches would be perfect for the sauna room.

Versatile: A sauna place should be versatile. It should be a place for the children to play during the day time and a place where one should forget all the office works and tensions at night. There can also be a storage room above the hot room.

There are few tips to be remembered and taken care of before the installation of sauna:

1. The light should be dimmer in the hot room.
2. There should be the supply of electricity for the heaters and other electrical appliances to work.
3. There should also be an efficient ventilation system for the proper circulation of the air.
4. The walls and ceiling of the sauna room should be insulated and can be made up of Abachi or Cedar wood types.
5. The heater should come along with the heat controlling system which will maintain the temperature and humidity at an optimum level.
6. Lastly, the door of sauna room should be an all glass door. An all glass door will be transparent due to which the activities of the bathers can be checked. The glass door is also resistant to the fluctuations in higher and lower temperature and humidity levels.

Sauna Steam Room accessories and Steam room parts

The sauna arrangements cannot be complete without the sauna accessories. These accessories form the whole complete set up of sauna steam room. The eloquent beauty of a sauna is found on the small details that encompasses it as whole, that is, the sauna accessories. These come in different use, shapes and materials. These sauna accessories make the sauna experience more pleasurable and memorable. The components in the sauna kit will be ready to screw or bracket together quickly either indoors or outdoors.

The accessory kits convert a current room or a closet into a sauna room. It contains custom-cut boards that will line existing walls. Sauna tents and cabinets are small, portable units that offer the most convenience and accessibility. Traditionally, the saunas produce heat through heated air, steam or conduction with hot wood but infrared saunas are a bit different. They get their heat by mimicking part of the sun’s invisible spectrum. The infrared saunas are very relaxing and offer innumerable benefits to the people who use it. An outdoor sauna is a great way to add spice to an open area or backyard where people can relax.

Some of the steam room accessories that are used while building the complete sauna room set are- buckets and ladles, towels, soaps, portable benches, sauna cleaners, sauna floor tiles, sauna bath brushes, sauna audio, headrest/backrest, lights and shades, signs, sauna heater rocks, eucalyptus and more, sand timers or clocks, hygrometers, so on and so forth. Thermometers and hygrometers determine the play of the warm and moist atmosphere inside the sauna room. These come in different shapes to best compliment the sauna rooms that are made of Cedar, Aspen, Pine wood and Soapstone or with decoration of metal or stone.

They can be a combination of thermometer and hygrometer or a separate module. A bucket of water is a substantial recipe for a pleasurable sauna experience that consists of pails and ladles made from Cedar, Aspen or Pine wood. Wooden pails come with plastic inserts that and is easy to clean with a rattan handle or with a single or double handle. The longer ladles are suitable for larger sauna rooms where the heater is usually further away.  Sand timer is designed for inside sauna use. It measures a 15-min countdown and is reset by turning it upside down. The lights and covers form the proper play of lighting that creates unique ambience to the sauna environment.

Steam room parts are a different form of dry saunas. As compared to dry saunas, steam saunas will have wet, humidity and steam in the air. They are not as hot as traditional saunas. Due to the wetness and high humidity in the air, the steam sauna room kits are generally constructed of heavy solids like tiles, marble, or acrylic. On the other hand, all of the fixtures of steam room kits are made from stainless steel, brass, plastic or other rustproof material. Also, the steam generator is located outside the steam room that demands plumbing in the water supply and from steam generator to the steam room as well as electrical wiring to the generator.
